When was IRDC established?

Integrated Rural Development Centre (IRDC) was established in 1996 with the aim to bring about sustainable development of the rural and urban communities of Nepal.

Our core areas include democracy, governance, human/dalit rights, strengthening peace process, disaster management, sustainable livelihood, environmental conservation, renewable energy, and water/sanitation programs.

We use participatory tools like PRA, PLA, and PVA to prioritize community needs. We involve the community in all stages of the project cycle and ensure programs are socially inclusive.

We collaborate with numerous organizations including UNDP, GTZ, PLAN International, DANIDA, AEPC, various Nepal Government Ministries, and many other national and international NGOs.

You can reach out to us via our Contact Us page. We welcome collaborations, volunteer support, and partnerships that align with our mission to empower rural and urban communities.
